Simon has been an "Ant Fan" for 25 years, he first performed as "Adam Ant" in early 2003.The idea was to arrive at a party in "80's" fancy dress so, He dressed as his favourite, "Adam Ant". Later when it was announced that karaoke would be taking place he was asked to perform.He performed "Antmusic" and the party was gate crashed by other people in the venue who weren't at the party. They wanted to see who was perfoming. Everyone went mad and many said it was a very convincing performance.June 2003 Adam took part in a competition at "Moods" nightclub, Doncaster winning the final heat and going on to the Grand Final!Sunday 29th of June 2003,  He with an army of fans in tow took to the stage in the grand final, once again performing "Ant music" to a packed, highly charged venue. The performance was good enough for Simon to win the competition outright which, resulted in him getting mobbed by the audience and he needed security to get out of the building!! "The response was amazing", says Simon, "this is what made me want to do it professionally. Being able to be my hero for the evening is a fantastic feeling and crowd support is just the icing on the cake really." performing in Tenerife alongside many other tribute artists.
