Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down, I'd like you to take a minute (well more than a minute) jus' sit right there, I tell you how I became a......................'Will Smith Lookalike'.Well it all started back in the early 90's, when The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was screened on TV. This Will Smith was young fresh and funny and a likeable character that appealed to all ages, which I suppose is what made him so successful. I was probably around 13 or 14 at the time and was making my way to West London, when as I was boarding a train two girls walked passed and cheekily shouted "Fresh Prince" and ran off. I had no idea what they were on about. However, little did I know that comment was about to change the rest of my life. Around the same time my girlfriend's mother and family (yeah I had a girlfriend at that age) use to continually compare me to the 'Fresh Prince', but being young and naive I always brushed the comments aside not knowing what the future held.1998 was the year, by this time I had aged a few years matured like cheese, well the slow maturing one, and the signs of slight facial hair had appeared above my lip. Since the first comment and with Will Smith getting bigger and bigger I was now being compared, even called Will on a daily basis. If I were to be given a pound/dollar for every comment made believe you and me I'll be a millionaire by now, seriously.By now it was starting to reach boiling point Men In Black was a big hit, Will Smith had released a few hit songs: Gettin' Jiggy With It, Miami, Men in Black to name a few, his new album Big Willie Style released, he was hot property! Almost in every magazine, newspaper, on television every time you tuned in I was now at the point when I thought to myself there must be a way I can make something of this. So I looked in local papers, phone directories, I knew nothing of the internet back then so my search was limited. And after all that came up with nothing. So I continued to work my day job on the tube (subway/metro) being called Will and put it all down to an uncanny resemblance.That was until one day in early 1998 a passenger was passing through my station and we got talking on how he thought I look a lot like Will Smith, he then went on to talk about one of his friends who is a so called 'lookalike' and gets a lot of work from this. Was this the day I had been waiting for? So I then asked him how did he got into it....BINGO...... that was the moment my doors opened.
