Starting singing like the king when his Father bought him some records when he was only 8 years of age.Within those records was a very nice singing voice this turned out to be Roy Orbison or the big O. But then Elvin heard this other voice and that was it he was hooked wow thought little Elvin Priestley (ha ha ha ) And he discovered that by cupping his hand to his mouth he could hear his voice more clearly he was then able to learn how to do His Vocal impersonation of the king,as time went by people in his secondary school and later in the army asked him to sing like the King And so he did and after leaving the army decided to make a living doing what he loved best the rest is history.

RNID Scotland to Break the Sound Barrier with spectacular Sound and Light Show on Princes Street - 16 October 2006
As part of its Breaking the Sound Barrier Campaign, RNID Scotland, the national charity representing the 758,000 deaf and hard of hearing people in Scotland, has chosen Edinburgh to showcase a free, spectacular Sound and Light Show supported by Barclays.
Top 'Elvis' impersonator, Elvin Priestley, will be performing and will launch the stunning 'sounds of the 60s' show, which will be broadcast on 18 October 2006 from 5.45pm at the front of Jenners, Edinburgh's prestigious department store on Princes Street, creating a fun evening of music and nostalgia.
