The Bare Faced Audacity Pub Tour Upon formation the band embarked on a grueling rehearsal schedule, and having rehearsed songs comprising of a vast mix of material from the early 70's onwards the next steps was to establish which songs to go with. In essence from the list select the numbers which got the best response and provided the optimum entertainment value.Feb 2006 seemed an appropriate time for new tribute combo Rod's Faces to embark upon "The Bare Faced Audacity Tour" - namely a series of gigs around the West Countries more discerning live music venues, thus keeping the Celtic flag aloft while the  'New Dad' is temporary preoccupied with more paternal pastimes.Faced with this challenge, the launch was on the 11 Feb at the PROM in Bristol, a venue known to many for its high quality of music entertainment and discerning regulars,. This was followed by a couple of smaller pub venues at Weston-super-Mare and Taunton, plus three private venues.The objective of the first part of the tour proved to be a success, audience reaction to specifics was achieved. Having secured a most welcoming snapshot of positive reaction to their repertoire, the band have returned to the rehearsal forum to re-arrange, polish and fine tune their performance which will result in highly reverential sets incorporating authentic renditions of classic numbers.The spin off from the gigs, proving the crowds with a few nights of real fun and giving the relatively fresh faced 5 piece initial exposures.  In addition, typical crowd response to Rods Faces performing a combination of uplifting ballads and some serious rootsy rock 'n' roll resulting in multiple return bookings including The PROM on June 17 and subsequent venues,In summary - Rods Faces are not another self indulgent tribute.Rods Faces are experienced musicians committed to quality entertainment, providing the audience with the songs the audience want to hear - convincingly original key versions of many of the most popular vintage Faces and  more recent Rod songs.
