With a history in art and the theatre, "Happy Faces" has been established eleven years. Based in the north west, we travel throughout the UK, having worked as far apart as Helston in Cornwall and Banchory in Scotland.Having membership of Equity, the actors' union automatically provides Public Liability cover for £5 million, but we do also carry our own separate insurance cover for Public Liability for £2 million.The paints that we use are professional, water based, and hypoallergenic, so can be used on sensitive skin types. They are easily washed off with water or baby wipes.As well as face painting and body painting, we also spray hair with colour to further enhance the face paint. We have an up to date collection of transfer tattoos and can also provide temporary handpainted tattoos. These use the same ink as "real" tattoos but are painted onto the surface of the skin. They can last up to five weeks, but it depends on the skin type of the client. These are normally used in TV, film and theatre, and are very popular with teenagers and adults alike. ( Extremely popular at University summer balls and the like ). Transfer tattoos are applied with water but are then waterproof and can last up to one week. They can be removed with baby oil. For private parties alongside the facepainting we provide a balloon modelling service and a small bubble machine to add to the party atmosphere.We provide everything needed for a good time. Tables, chairs, a stand with over 70 pictures on display and a pop-up gazebo if working outside. With a repertoire of over 200 faces, we swap and change the display regularly. Our clients include Victoria and David Beckham, for whom we have worked twice, the last occasion we organised the balloon display at the party location as well as the magician/entertainer. Our work has been seen in "OK" magazine and we have been filmed working for MUTV; Sky Sports; BBC and Granada TV.
