SLYDE are a four piece Slade tribute band based in Buckinghamshire. The band formed in August 2001 and have now proved themselves to be the U.K.'s No.1 Slade Tribute Band. An evening with SLYDE gives people the chance to relive the Glam era of the 70's - flares, glitter, tartan and of course, the hit songs that continue to make it so popular.. Vocalist NOBBY BOULDER sounds so much like the man himself that Slade's drummer, Don Powell, has been quoted as saying " There's only one other person that sounds like that!!".The reportoire includes Slade hits like : Cum on Feel the Noise, Everyday, Goodbye ta' Jane, All Crazee Now, plus other Glam classics such as Blockbuster, 20th Century Boy, Jean Genie, Spirit in the Sky, etc. All accompanied by superb musical & visual performance.In 2003 Slyde played to literally thousands of people across the country at Festivals, Tribute Shows, Private Parties & Radio Shows - finishing the year off by performing on ITV's "TRISHA" xmas special to an audience of around 1.7 million viewers. The performance was so successful that it was shown again at Xmas 2004.The band are rapidly becoming stars in their own right and continue to go from strength to strength.
