BIOGRAPHY

In 1999, Lee Lard started his comedy career as half of the comedy duo Lean & Lard, who have had great success performing throughout the UK. Due to his uncanny resemblance to Peter Kay, it was suggested that Lee branch out on his own as a tribute to Peter Kay and so he launched his show 'Lee Lard's Peter Kay Tribute'. In this one hour extravaganza, Lee performs the traditional 'Peter Kay Standup' style of comedy and then treats the audience to a visit from Brian Potter of Phoenix Nights, which is a great hit with all audiences. This show's popularity has gone from strength to strength in a very short period of time, having 'sold out' at venues throughout the UK. 2005 has already given great opportunities to Lee, with the invitation to appear on Peter Kay's Comic Relief DVD, 'Amarillo' along side Peter Kay himself. It is since being seen by millions on TV that the request for his tribute show is now in even greater demand.
